Fred and Tineke were the perfect hosts for our 3 night stay at their beautiful idyllic home near Montmoreau. Firstly, their attention to making the living space so peaceful was fantastic. The bedroom was large, airy and very calm to sleep in. The breakfast each morning was exceptional, with a selection of yoghurts, fresh fruit, delightful pastries and home boiled eggs on offer.Nothing was too much trouble for Fred or Tineke during our stay and they were on hand for recommendations and suggestions of places to eat and drink.If you're looking for peace in the middle of nowhere then this is the place! We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in Chateau de Lerse, which is about an 8 minute drive away. Montmoreau is about the same distance away by car and trains travel direct from here to Bordeaux (check timetable before setting off).Thanks for Fred and Tineke for a wonderful stay.James & Gemma

We stayed recently (Aug-2023) for two nights when attending a nearby wedding. The accommodation, location and hosting were fantastic. The rooms were very big and clean, the location was beautiful and quiet, and Tineke and Fred were very friendly and accommodating hosts. David & Esther

Le petit Guérinaud is a superb guest house in a setting worthy of Jane Austen's novels. As a couple we had a perfect stay there. The room is spacious and pleasant and our host Fred was attentive, good advice and an excellent cook (the breakfast is incredible). "Le Petit Geurinaud" beautiful B&B in a fantastic location! Beautifully decorated, well-maintained rooms! We had the Pure room, attractive and clean. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. We had a 5 nights stay for my niece’s wedding at the nearby Chateau De Lerse. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay in this peaceful place surrounded by the wonderful French countryside. The room was spacious, light, comfortable, airy and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and consisted of local produce with a delicious homemade smoothie. Fred and Tineke looked after us as though we were one of the family and made us most welcome in this ‘home from home’. If we are in this area again we would certainly return.

Spent 5 days in June in this wonderful place and with these incredibly lovely people. The real French countryside feeling. Here you can really relax. A real home feeling. We will definitely come back. Fred and Tineke thank you very much for your hospitality. You deserve a big 10.

Dear Tineke and Fred. Your Le Petit Guerinaud gives so much more than just making you feel like you have ended up in heavenly paradise. That's what it felt like to me!! A beautiful environment where you hear nature and it calms you down. You allow this peace to come to you in the depths of your soul. Your hospitality makes you feel like you're coming home. The extensive breakfast and fantastic meals, accompanied by delicious wines, were unsurpassable. Worthy of Michelin stars for me. It was a 'pure' experience and unforgettable! We were so lovingly welcomed again at this beautiful place by Fred and Tineke, tasteful, well cared for, the peace and quiet, the space, the beautiful room and the delicious breakfast and dinner, everything is correct down to the last detail. Back home from 2 wonderful weeks in France with our friends Tineke and Fred in their fantastic chambre d'hotes. We were spoiled and enjoyed the great ambiance and beautiful surroundings.
